The T2000 Reverse Power Relay will protect the generator from being run as an electric motor. The T2000 will protect the prime mover of the generator against physical damage, but will also protect the parallel running generators from overload caused by the inversed load shift in a reverse power situation.

The T2100 Excitation Loss Relay protects against partial or complete excitation loss (field loss) on the synchronous generator. If the generator under parallel operation has a low excitation, a high inductive current is running into the generator. This current is detected and the breaker of the faulty generator is tripped, thus avoiding overload on the other generators with a possible black-out of the system.

The SELCO T2400 consists of two combined over current relays, intended for protection, or monitoring of generators, power transmissions and consumer supply.

A typical application for protection of a generator is for one of the over current functions to trip the generator breaker and the other over current function to trip a nonessential service. Both over current functions could be used to trip 2 levels of nonessential load. The relay detects the highest of the 3 input currents and, on exceeding the preset values, output relays will be activated after preset time delays.

The SELCO T2500 is a high quality Over-Current and Short-Circuit relay intended for protection against thermal damage and faults caused by excessive currents.

The T2500 can be used to protect generators, power transmission lines and various types of consumer supplies. The T2500 monitors two levels of current and trips the circuit breaker when one of these two levels has been exceeded continuously for a time period (defined by an adjustable delay).

The SELCO T2600 determines load depending start and stop level of the diesel generator. When load increases on the running diesel generators more than e.g. 90% adjustable, for a preset time, a start signal to call for the standby diesel generator will be provided. If the load decreases more than e.g. 45% adjustable, for a preset time, a stop signal will be provided to dismiss one of the diesel generators.

The SELCO T2600 can serve an installation with up to three diesel generators. The number of diesel generators can be extended.

The SELCO T3300 is intended for three phase effective voltage surveillance on generators, busbar or other distribution systems. The relay contains the functions "under voltage" and "over voltage" time delayed, and 2 individual output relays, one relay for each function.

The T3300 includes a total of four internal transformers. Three of these transformers are used for measurement and one dedicated to supplying the internal electronics. The internal transformers provide optimal isolation and the best possible accuracy. The use of a dedicated transformer for supply prevents load disturbance to any of the three measurements.

The SELCO T3500 Frequency Deviation Relay will, based on a simple AC voltage measurement, monitor the change in frequency over a time period of one second.

The T3500 Pick up LED will ignite as soon as the voltage frequency has changed more than 0.5 Hz to 1.5 Hz per second, while the internal relay (and the relay indication LED) activates after the frequency deviation has existed for more than 100 milliseconds.

The 100 millisecond delay can be omitted by bridging two external connection terminals. An alternative delay of 50 milliseconds can be obtained by inserting a resistor between the two terminals. The Pick Up and Relay LED will ignite simultaneously if the delay is omitted.

The T7900 Electronic Potentiometer is typically used as an interface between a unit that provides increase/decrease contacts signals and electronic speed governors or voltage regulators (AVR) controlled by analogue voltage or current signals.

The T7900 works much like a conventional motorized potentiometer (e.g. the SELCO E7800); however, instead of a variable resistance, the T7900 provides a variable voltage (e.g. -5 to +5 VDC), current (e.g. 4-20 mA) or a pulse width modulated signal (PWM). The voltage and current range is programmable. The PWM output provides a 500 Hz signal with programmable duty cycle. The analogue outputs are galvanically isolated.
