The full automatical synchronization unit with phase display is used for the quick information of phase between generator and mains during synchronization and for automatical frequency control with “Up” and “Down” pulses. Dependig on configuration the synchronization could also be made manual with push button by watching the phase on 360° display. All important limiting values for synchronizing are displayed on additionally LED indications and the 4-digit LED. The SYFLED has two change over contacts for the output of frequency control pulses and one change over contact for synchronization pulse. With “enable” – input the synchronization can be externally stopped or enabled.

This unit is used for synchronization with the public power supply system and for voltage and frequency control for off-mains operation. As a result of the short reaction times used in frequency and voltage control and in synchronization, the unit is especially suitable for gensets with short rev-up times and gas turbines. All inputs and outputs have a high potential separation and the output contacts are dimensioned for low-voltage use and equipped with internal spark quenching capacitors. This unit is used for the fine adjustment of the generator frequency. For the purposes of parallel connection of a generator with the mains, if a voltage is present continuous control is carried out with the output pulses.If the frequency difference is larger, correspondingly more control pulses are output in order to bring the generator close to the setpoint value rapidly. If synchronization is carried out and the generator remains suspended between the zero points of the generator and mains frequency, a short "Up" pulse is given after 5 sec in order to initiate control. In case of power failure, the unit automatically switches over to the internal quartz-controlled setpoint value.

This unit is used for the parallel connection of generators with the mains. It is equipped with preselectable advance time ( generator switch delay ), frequency difference and voltage difference. The instantaneous states are indicated by LED`s. The current phase position of the two networks in comparision to one another can be observed via the 0V display. The DSY300 is equipped with protective measures against wrong synchronization and works reliably with all types of disturbances on the lines connect.

This unit is used for manual synchronization or for monitoring synchronization as an additional safeguard against wrong synchronization. Release is effected by closing of contacts 17-18. The unit works in both directions. The +/- phase range within which the output contact is closed is set via the phase adjuster.
